Francisco Jorquera __________ Second Guide

He was born in the central region of Chile on August 20 of 1980. In the early years of his childhood his parents motivated to him of doing all kind of outdoors activities, his grandfather, who is an expert fisherman was also very important in this process and it was from him that Francisco inherited his desires of being most time on any river bank. From when he was 14 years old he shone with his skills fly fishing and at that time he already thought fly fishing could become in a way of living. His interest in the entomology, flora and wildlife took him to spending a lot of time watching and studying the trouts behaviors and their way of feeding.

After some years practicing his hobby and accumulating days on the rivers banks, and in addition of his theoretical studying, it made to earn a great prestige within fly fishers of the capital. This allowed him to start guiding them in the central region of Chile. Aside of guiding there, he started giving fly fishing lessons and some presentations or shows in several institutions and fly fishing clubs.

One year ago and after his accumulated experience through the years, he felt motivation to travel to United States to take a course in the Orvis Co. for certification of fly fishing guides. "Congratulations Francisco for that achievement...!". Due to he didn't speak english until one and a half year ago, and to his permanent interest in overcoming himself it made him to think in taking an english course in an important institute in Santiago of Chile. After to be studying for more than one year we think now he's able to guide people from anywhere they come. This will even make him a more complete guide.

Aside of fly fishing, Harry as he is also known due to his resemblance to Harry Potter the famous personage of Hollywood, likes Hiking, Mountain bike, Chess and of course the Chilean and International gastronomy.
