Yelcho in January PDF Print E-mail

Yelcho river is always fertil in fishing, never fails, and rarely does not give the best thrills to our clients. It was the same for Jim, he had the best of the week there, fishing never was less than great....!! The most successful flies were Parachute Adams, and Blue Dun and some other patterns, fishing from the boat in deeps eddies, sight fishing and positioning the boat in just the one correct place to cast, it looks like there are many places where you can cast from, but, really there is not more than one or two in every eddy. This makes the difference between acceptable to fantastic fishing.  Who are experienced fly fishermen knows what I'm talking about...!

Also there was good fishing casting to the logs under water, great to see how many browns came up from them, this nice brown is one of the many he caught using rubber-leggs streamers. This fishing here can be almost as fun as fishing small dries, I mean almost because you all know that there is nothing better to catch fish on dries.
