If you decide to come to visit us, we'll
give you a list of recommendations to help you plan for a more
enjoyable and successful fishing trip.
A list that you will find useful from the moment you start packing
your bags:
Rod: Since there are
mostly medium to big rivers into the fishing operation area, we
recommend rod numbers 5 to 7 for trout and 8 to 10 for salmon. Nevertheless,
if you take a customized trip and like fishing in small streams
you can bring a rod number 2 to 4 maximum.
Lines: Preferably WF
sinking tip, type III to IV. If you fish with Teeny lines, the T-130
to T-200 are excellent. Of course there are situations that require
floating lines, in which case the WF are best since the days are
can be slightly windy around our southern rivers. As we explained
previously, if you take a customized trip to fish in streams, it
is also recommended to bring DT floating lines.
Waders: For the beginning
and the end of the season, the best waders are the Neoprene and
the breathable waders with polar lining. In January, February and
March, the breathable waders are ideal.
Clothes for the trip:
It is recommendable to bring clothes for warm or slightly cool days
as well as clothes such as shoes and jackets for rainy days. However
we also recommend you to bring clothes like polar or wool sweaters
for colder days.
Sun Protection: It is necessary to bring sun-block of SPF-20 or
more. In January, it is also useful to bring insect repellent, but
try to bring some that doesn't damage the ozone layer.
